Most manufacturers make a tire with their name on it for Cosco/Walmart etc. They are sold cheaper because it is a cheaper version of that particular tire; less reinforcing/less rubber=poorer quality. NOT telling ANYONE how to spend their money, but you would be FAR better served going to a dealership or a dedicated tire store. Also be wary of tires bought off of a display rack that is outside. No telling how long they have been out there and they are susceptible to weather/sun damage. Tires also carry a code as to date of manufacture. If your sales person can't tell you that I would recommend you not buy the tire or ask for someone who can show/explain the code to you. In economic times like these it behooves all of us to buy wisely.
