Hang tough man, "glass-half-full" side.. It's only a car. You'll get paid and get another ride. Yeah it's a hassle with the estimates and appointments and phone calls and paperwork but it beats surgeries and rehab. Your ins company will sue him for their loss so you don't have to. That's what the un-ins add on is for.

I smoked for 25 years, pack and a half a day for most of them and just quit three months ago. Got tired of it. The $$ and persecution and exclusion from more and more public places and peoples houses and cars. Plus I don't want my 9 month old grandson to ever be able to remember his grandpa smoking.

The biggest kick in the bass for you with all this is being stuck THERE and not being able to be hands-on helping your wife through this. It sucks. Thank you for what you do. I've done my time and all you have to do is stay safe and come home. Besides, the fishing has to be HORRIBLE there!
My worst day of fishin' is still better than my best day at work!

been there my friend! only my mother in law wrecked and totaled my truck

take my advice GET AN ATTORNEY!!!! to handle everything, cuz even your own ins company will try or will screw you over.

you ins co has been notified now let an attorney go to work for you and your wife , cuz if they total it they will only pay what its blue book value is and if you still owe money on it thats more than blue book YOU will still have to pay the difference, if you bought GAP ins with your car they will screw you too and only pay a certain amount as well NOT the rest of what your primary ins co doesnt pay like promised from the dealer when you bought the car

just speakin from experience,,,but good luck to you and glad the wifes ok

at the bare minimum dont sign anything until you or your wife goes over it with a lawyer, dont let the insurance company slick you into signing ANYTHING making you think your being taken care of.

PLUS!!! An attorney will not only get after your ins co to make sure they pay everything they need to, the attorney will also go after the a$$wipe with no ins,

ooohhh yessss, I could take off on this subject and go for days

much better rugs, I already have to deal with youngsters every day that make me feel really old.

Johny Law and every one else thanks for the advice. We already have a lawyer on the job. So far our insurance (Preuitt Ins. out of Sedalia) is treating us pretty darn well and we hope it stays that way.

The non smoking is going fairly well, definitely not a cold-turkey, I have had about 5 in the past two weeks. Considering I was a pack a day habit I think that is pretty good. I am still chewing but about a half can a day working my way away from that as well.

Just got back from a road trip, considering where I am at right now doesn't have the best reputation it has been really quiet and pleasant around here. Maybe the breeze is blowing in some change for these people. For most of them I pray that it comes soon. One of our biggest battles over here seems to be mis-information. The truth is starting to get around, they had to come to the realization themselves. I will be curious to see how the election results are received but it is their process. I got to see my first ink stained fingers too, pretty neat to see. Kinda makes you smile. Just about as much as driving through a town and seeing school kids, boys and girls leaving their school with smiling faces.
Opinions are like A-holes, everybody has one and some stink worse than others!

Sorry to hear of the troubles back home, I am sure that is the last thing you needed to deal with. Stay strong, it will all work out.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
