I am sorry gator but car salesmen are above Politicians in my book. Nothing is going to happen. First time someone offers the new senator from MA a check for his next election campain that happens in about 30 months everthing will be just like normal. He isn't going to do anything that would stop those big money checks made out to him.

Need someone who is like you say a plain man who can balance a check book and is tuff on crime. Someone who knows what it is like to go out and work to earn a paycheck and someone who understands what it is like to walk into a grocery store and buy his own food.

I grew up in Taxachussets (yeah really... but I was born in MO, so I didn't get that Boston twang!), and I NEVER thought I'd see the day when anybody but a very liberal Dem would hold a senate seat there.

I'm stunned.

Now THAT is some Hope and Change that I can get behind.

bush's damage was severe, but it did take him 8 years to do so much of it.

but obama is a whole new flavor of scary! something that has not been seen far exceeding my lifetime. he wants an almost total government complete takeover of the private sector, aka communism. obama's war-mongering is not with other nations, it's with the US citizens.

is the government more afraid of you than you are of them? of course the govt is not afraid of you, not in the slightest. and when the people fear the govt rather than the govt fearing the people you do not have a democracy, but rather a tyranny

Funny how during the elections Obama was Americas "saviour" now you would be pressed to find anyone who voted for him. Let's continue to bail out banks, wall st., car manufacturers etc. and ask the average American citizen to grab their ankles.

Could not agree more with this. Fear needs to be put back into the politicians we elect. Without it we are finished as the country we know and love.
