Default Restaurant question - Clinton & Sedalia

Any suggestions on where to get good bbq at Clinton or Sedalia??? We prefer to hit Clinton (or Sedalia on our way home). We've done Kehde's in Sedalia several times but would like to try something different.

Another question, has anyone tried the little "joint" where you turn off Highway U going to Bucksaw? There's a BBQ sign there and it's takeout. Anyone tried anything from there and if so, is it fabulous?

    Thanks!

    Pat

Warsaw has the best BBQ restaurant--Chuckwagon on 7 hwy just north of warsaw, about 5 miles. Great BBQ and the peach cobbller is awesome. The homemade pies are great too.

Tried it but thanks. We'd prefer Clinton or Sedalia. Looking for something new.

    Default No elks for me

    Bob,

If I were to get you an elk burger I'd have to go find an elk ranch and buy one!

I want to be there but the Wife and I are leaving for Wyoming on the evening of the 1st so I guess I won't make Camp,,,,,,somehow I need to find a way to hunt and fish at the same time.

Has anyone tried Dickie Doo's BBQ in Sedalia? We drive past it all the time but haven't had anyone recommend it.

Best BBQ I have found around here is in Concordia. A place called Biffle's, I believe. Chuckwagon is hard to beat around the lake.
