Best BBQ I have found around here is in Concordia. A place called Biffle's, I believe. Chuckwagon is hard to beat around the lake.
"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty ia a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." - Benjamin Franklin.
Jed\hde's beats Dickie Doo all to pieces,,,,,, in atmosphere AND food........ I keep hearing about the Concordia place but haven't tried it.
Bulletman aka Tommy
in clinton i like smith's if i got more time than fast food will allow (behind mcdonalds and wendy's)
Why do I have to press 1 for English?
is it beside that Mexican restaurant? If so, I've noticed that but never tried it.
Thanks!
I like the Dickie Doo , they also have an outstanding tenderlion sandwich
Jack in Sedalia
SO AM I, I DIDN'T GET ANY BREAKFAST OR LUNCH, WIFE IS PICKING UP SONIC TONIGHT.
HEY NOVICE WE HAD A BANDANAS DOWN HERE IN SPRINGFIELD AND I LIKE THEIR BBQ SO IF THERE IS ONE IN SEDALIA IT WOULD BE AT THE TOP OF MY LIST FOR SURE. IF PW58 AND I BOTH AGREE IT IS USUALLY A WINNER! SHE LOVED IT WHEN I TOOK HER OVER THERE FOR DINNER ONE NIGHT.
We tried one in Columbia and it was good but not great, but I realize that varies from chef to chef. The El Camino Real in Clinton has fabulous food and the one in Warsaw isn't anything to brag about in comparison. Will give it a try, though. Thanks for the tip.
Biffles is good. Used to stop there when fishing the Conservation ponds on Hwy 23.
