    WOW is all I can say! What a game, and I'm going to assume next year will be the last year the Illlini want that game. Their fans were completely deflated, but man what an atmosphere.

    Great game, and great way to start the 2009 season.

    P.S. - Gabbert was much more impressive in person, that guy can fly and has a cannon for an arm.

    Well I Was Watching Nascar Racing On Tv. But I Had Pulled Up Yahoo Sports And Had That Little Fan Deal Where You Can See The Football Field And It Shows Each Play. I Thought It Was A Heck Of A Game After Seeing That Little Football Move So Fast. Missouri Was Sure Eatting Up Some Yards.

    Well check that link out DMW, it's even more impressive when you see the actual ball move down the field that fast.

    I can't express how impressed I was with the playmakers on this team. Call me a homer or whatever, but this team is better than last years. If nothing else for our defense.

    There are a couple of highlights in there of Aldon Smith, a pass rushing DE that has unlimited potential and will be a well known name very soon. After Gabbert, he may have been the most impressive.

    I agree with you about this team being better than last years. It's going to be an exciting year I think. We'll find out how good we are when we play Texas.

    I THINK YOU ARE RIGHT. BOY I THOUGHT OK WOULD HAVE DONE BETTER. GRANTED WHEN SAM WENT DOWN I WOULD HAVE FIGURED THAT HIS BACKUP WOULD HAVE AT LEAST BEEN READY TO ROCK AND ROLL.
