Yes welcome. I know I have not been on Crappie.com for a while. Some of the older members may remember me. I plan to be online and out fishing more this year. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new friends.

Welcome Spazzboy, and welcome back Crappiehead!
Hi everyone. I'm Mac, from Oakville, married, old, retired, 4 kids, 5 grandkids, 1 pup, and independently broke. I like smoking good cigars, fishing, cooking, eating, visiting, entertaining and being entertained, most ball sports, you know all the good things in life. One day my life all changed,
Then the wife made me buy a mortorized fishing machine. She then said I need fishing gear. So I went out and bought some rods and reels. You know it's a long ride from South County to Cabelas and Bass Pro and back.. I didn't complain when she made me drive all the way out there and get some lures, hooks, bobbers, sinkers, etc. You know I had to spend almost 8 hours in those stores. All by myself too. She wouldn't even ride with me. After a few months of not catching many fish she wanted to know the reason why. I informed here that the 2 fish finders that came with that darned boat weren't very good and that the motor was too loud, scaring the fish. You know she had the nerve to send me back to those 2 stores to buy some new fish finders and even a trolling motor? No joke, she did. Being the gentleman that I am and not wanting to hurt her feelings, I really act like I enjoy this fishing machine and all the fishing she forces me to do. Oh well, I guess it could be worse.
You know not only do I have to go to a lake of my choice any time I want and catch some fish, I also have to clean em and cook em. Of course she made me get an electric fillet knife. And she thinks this makes me happyShe's brutal I tell ya!!!
Looking forward to meeting some of ya'll.
Mac
Welcome to the site Mac.
I don't know if we should meet or not?
With you having those kind of problems and all.![]()
My name is Brian... aka the Riverrat. As you can tell I have at least 1 child, I have two boys and I would rather crappie fish as another type of fishing. Hey Crawdad, I use a 1988 Ranger. Still in good shape. Enough crappie slime on that booger to grease an outboard motor. I fish the upper end of Table Rock, from about PT 15 on James River up to the end of the navigable part of James. I teach Government at a local school district around the lower end of the lake. I also teach a class at a local college. I get on the Rock every chance I get. I really like to longline troll for those big slabs. I also enjoy bobber fishing with live bait. Thanks for the invite.
My name is jason. Im from Illinois. Im an Sro for a school district as a civilian and a msgt in the air guard. I've been all over the world and am very proud to do it. I'll be leaving again this fall. I've been married for 11 years with two young boys that are 5& 8 and keep it interesting. Anything outdoors is where I like to be. I've been fishing my whole life. I take the boys any chance I get. I'm enjoying this site and have learned a lot already. For those that know more than I thanks for sharing. I'm headed to stockton in April with some pals and looking forward to it.
