We grandson and I hit Stockton this am. Thought we were going to have a good day first drop with bouncer and rig tipped with crawler got hit within a minute. Right specie walleye but too short 13-1/2. Grandson getting bit but not hooking up then I got bit and this 16-1/2 came to net. Continued on getting a few taps but no hook ups. Then grandson gets into fish good fight all the way to boat but catfish. Oh well it was fun throw back into lake continue on grandson has something on half way back to boat comes off he did not like that. Tried couple other spots I got a smallmouth sent it back to lake. Still good to have gotten out we are having fun and he is learning how to operate boat. This one would have gotten a reprieve but we are frying fish tonite and it will be just fine in grease.
