If you're fishing and you hook a short fish you can release it unharmed, generally speaking. (Believe me! I hook short fish all the time! )

How does that work with a slingshot?!!? You're physically hurting the fish!?

    Frickin' morons.

I don't think that falls under "alternative methods"? Anyone know for sure?

No catch and release with this method. A metal dart through the head kills all fish. Certainly can't be legal and fish weren't legal size either.

Then he said I think that's the guy. Across the lake is a guy walking along, then he stops and shoots a bass which he quickly gets to the bank. I yelled at him to stop and start walking around the lake towards him but he quickly leaves before I can get close enough for a license plate. Drove off in a white car. Still really ticked off about this. Shooting bass on beds with sling shot darts is about as low as you can go, the worst I've ever seen.
be vigilant Jim and track that idiot down. What the heck is that all about? Have never seen anyone do that.

He may not pay attention to a drone. Be a good way to get close enough to get a tag number
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along

Never crossed my mind before that day either. Maybe the idiot will post pictures on Facebook or Instagram bragging about his expertise.
