Hello everyone, I've been back at it again. Decided this morning to go get some fast drying Polyurethane. Got started about 15 till seven this morning laying it on. Just came in from putting second coat on edges and first coat on All three seat bottoms. I don't quite understand how this is fast drying when at the four hour recommended time between coats it's still feels tacky...this will sit out for four hors, then will get flipped over lightly sanded on the first coat for the top, then a good second coat for it. then around 830 tonight in the shed it goes to finish setting up. Tomorrow I will see if I can get a couple of coats on the transom pieces. My sweetheart is supposed to be in this weekend to get the rest of her stuff for the truck, (what she couldn't take on the bus without having an army of help to tote it for her besides costing an arm and a leg...), So I'll be busy getting her set up their instead of working on this. She'll have to leave sometime Sunday to deliver on Monday am. And Probably wont be back for about three weeks. So goes the life of a trucker, been on that side of it till my back wouldn't take it no more...
If I get more done I will post as I get it done. I am so much happier with the outcome of this Polyurethane. I'll just have to deal with the glossy ness of semi gloss, and sunshine in the eyes. But it looks so good. I tried to capture the glare in the light off the seats in some of these pictures. So here they are...Name: IMG_20180712_075100.jpg
