Spent 3 good days camping (roughing it smoothly) in the Sprinter at State Park. Had the Triton and fished a bit. Ran back in Maze Creek, dipped trees with jigs. Jane & I caught crappie here & there, not a lot but enough to keep up interest and make some good eats. All we caught were keepers, that was surprising (well, there was this 4" bass).
Best color was an ice blue tube on a plain head jig. Fished 6-18 ft. water, fish depth varied with water depth. No doubt about having a fish, they were thumping it. Water temp 82.7°F.
