Fished south end of lake today catching over 75 crappie in two and half hours. Was in two to six feet of water jigging with seldom casting without catching a fish. Caught males a foot off bank and females further out in deeper water. Eggs in females not quite transparent yet and some not even close. Main lake temp was 66 and was 72 in back of cove. I use double jigs and used a yellow/white body with light green twister tail. What a fun day and I needed that!

Did it again this morning! Same spot same jigs. Started at daylight and had limit by 7:30. That's as good as it gets for Smithville.
CongratsThanks for the report.
Awesome. I've been tearing them up at night so it seems around the clock.
Hey, Thanks for the information. It was very slow for me this past Saturday. Crappie time for me this evening.
