Buddy of mine rolled into the shop today said they cuaght 60. Smallest was 11 1/2 inches. All big blacks and fat. He was fishing wind blown points on the Gravois.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Got to tell you Hogster1; if 11 1/2 was the smallest that is one hell of a day from my experiences at LOZ! Those boys must be anxious to get back out after that.

Fish4; we usually fish were the fish aren't. When we really get into them their usually 9" -. mostly Niangua down to HaHa Tonka.

I can believe it. From Nov thru Dec, the blacks were stacked and running big. I'm on the Big Niangua, and now it seems like I'm only finding smaller whites. But when I do catch a black, its in that 11" range.
