    my cousin is dmr down here they lower the size of speckle trout was lower from 14 to 13 he said a fish on ice will shrink little over 1/4 of inch some of dmr will tolerate short fish the law is the law some ice chest are wrong too
    did you see the size of that fish

    Very true but if they want slide, then its 99.9999999999999999% chance they are better than 12".

    You would be suprised I have seen a number of 11.75 inch fish that do not fit all the way in

    Default The GOLDEN GRIP

    Here is how I fixed the big fish problem with the gripper type measuring boards. I cut about 1 1/2 inches off the end of a Grip N Check (which is also too small for Butla fish) and mounted my Golden rule inside of it with a couple of rivets. It works great and you dont have to chase a floping fish around the bottom of the boat after he fell off your golden rule.:D

    I dont fish the big 4 so its not a prob for me. I do try to through back 11 and smaller but when its tough and the freezer empty they find there way into the well
