my cousin is dmr down here they lower the size of speckle trout was lower from 14 to 13 he said a fish on ice will shrink little over 1/4 of inch some of dmr will tolerate short fish the law is the law some ice chest are wrong too

Here is how I fixed the big fish problem with the gripper type measuring boards. I cut about 1 1/2 inches off the end of a Grip N Check (which is also too small for Butla fish) and mounted my Golden rule inside of it with a couple of rivets. It works great and you dont have to chase a floping fish around the bottom of the boat after he fell off your golden rule.:D

I dont fish the big 4 so its not a prob for me. I do try to through back 11 and smaller but when its tough and the freezer empty they find there way into the well
