I have not but have always liked the width up front. The problem I see with Sea Ark is how high the sides stick out of the water. Will catch wind like a sailboat I would imagine. I run an xpress hd 20. It has one of the widest front decks out there and yet sits as low as any tin boat. We can spin around and go to back of boat between the seats or over the gunwales with no problem at all. I load it down with weights and relocated the batteries up front and it sits almost as low as a glass boat. Add a silent stalker and it will be quiet as a mouse.

There really isn't one boat out there for me. Too much duck hunting and big river catfishing in addition to the crappie fishing that prevent me from going glass. Need both I guess. Back to work I guess.

Im waiting for BRM to loan me an Xpress XBAY 21 for a season so I can test it out. That boat is the widest dang thing out there and comes with a pad hull as well. 102 inch wide at the beam and 78 on the floor. Problem is 28 inch sides. Guess that would be pretty useful when its blowing 20 mph and I have to cross Sardis. I heard Doug Wynn (crappie gills n more ) switched over to the Excel 230 Bay which is basically the same thing but 23 foot.

My apologies I was responding to the man's question about sea ark aluminum boats. Excel and xpress (aluminum) both advertise that their 102' beam boats are the widest that can be legally towed. That might be fake news tho.
