What Is you favorite single jig pole? Wanting to get a new one was looking at the the ol Sammy Heaton. Like the feel and reel seat. Just wanting to see what everybody else likes.

A few years ago, I snapped the ends off of 3 different 11' Sam Heatons. These were broken from hook sets.
I went back with the BGJP'S in 12'. Excellent switch for me.

B&M Custom, 10' rear reel seat. Took a little getting used to the rear seat, but now I really like it. With the rear seat, you can keep the line in your off hand, to feel the jig, like fly fishing......
Tried it with a small spinner, but too butt heavy. Use a little Bano reel, just the right balance!
My two cents.... But I like cane poles too, so......
