    Default Rez tomorrow

Well I haven't a been on the water since April 10th so basically missed out on the spawn but was on them good from feb-April. Rain has me set back so instead of complaining about the weather, I got the batteries charging and I'm spending the day out there tomorrow. I know it's going to be some tuff fishing but hey that's what makes it fun. Still trying to get a game plan up. They gotta be pulling some water out so I thought maybe welfare hole??

Welfare is a good spot to try if the current is up. As is long lake. I like to hit the north sides of some of the old lake beds, too. They will get in there and tuck in behind those stumps and ledges to get out of the current. The old oxbows up river that are a ways back off of the main channel are worth a shot. If the river is just ripping, those oxbows are usually are the last places to find clearer water.

Believe I'm going to put in at Madison and hit the west side of the lake. Always a gamble on whether to put in down here and fish gilligans south or go around to tommys and fish the north part. Always seem to do better up north but so easy to stay down here when I can be on the water in ten minutes.

Good luck. I get set in my ways a little to much. There are areas over there that I still have yet to go to.

Well with the WNW wind predicted( been there done that) I went around and put in at tommys. Ran up river to one of my favorite oxbows. Caught 8-10 but had to work for them. Wind didn't seem so bad around 11 so I decided to run south around the s curve. Got there and it was close to white capping. Decided to try it anyway since I had done ran all the way there so I put lines out. Caught 3 there in about 15 minutes and I have had enough of battling the wind so back to the ramp I go. Loaded up and went to a private lake down the road and spent the evening bass fishing.
