    My last boat was a G3 1860, and I had on all 4 runners the 6" composite decking. These were screwed down to a 2x6 for support. It prevented the hull from freezing to the runners during duck season, helped loading and unloading. I put the grooves faced up, still slick but not so that you could not do it by yourself. Allowed the watter to run right off.

    I have seen pvc covered runners but this was pvc pipe.

    Silt has cut her off below 194. Ain't near as deep now at that level as it was when they built her.

    Aight. Riggn boat next week. Gonna visit gene on way over pick up loks and sidekick. Gonna have to run a 899 si bird fer now. Picked her up brand new for 500. Coming together nicely.
