Great post, I am still learning all of the ropes on crappie fishing to say the least. A couple of things I have learned this year - after buying a good side imager/GPS/depthfinder - I found out very quickly what I had been missing. Using wider gap hooks (i.e. sickle hooks) results in a far better hook up ratio for me. Fishing the Delta lakes is something I have been missing out on, when I was at Ole Miss, I fished Enid almost exclusively with a couple trips to Sardis and Grenada. Now living 5 minutes from the Rez, I fish there almost every time out of convenience but have been over to Chotard a couple of times and am looking forward to trying Eagle and Washington soon. Delta fishing is so much fun and something is always biting. Look forward to seeing you all on the water.
