Default Power pro depth hunter line

Where do Yall order this from. All the prices I've seen are pretty expensive for 500ft. Need enough to to do 6 reels. I will have more money in line than I do the baitcaster reels it looks like.

I agree, look in the sticky thread at the top under cranking 101 on the last page you will find a post where feelay found some line counters for $25 each. I bought 4 of them and had them in two days. Haven't tried them yet, but they seem well built. I'm a mono man personally, but that's beside the issue.

Use the bait casters for spider rigging.

I just bought a 1500 yard spool of Power Pro Depth Hunter line in 40 pound and just can't bring myself to put it on my reels yet. After seeing some massive tangles with mono, I fear what those same tangles will look like with the braid. I will end up putting it on the reels I use when not having clients in the boat pulling cranks to see if I can live with it. I know several here love it.

You will be fine Xpress with the bait casters and depth hunter line, there will be several chime in before long and show us all the errors of our ways... Lol... the marked line works from what I hear. :-)

I just pick some up off Amazon. I filled 6 reels for less than $40. I only put 200 feet on each reel. I am just starting out pulling cranks and had some old reels laying around and it was cheaper to go with the depth hunter. That way I could spend all my money buying bandits. I have not had a chance to try it out yet but will be on KY lake in a few weeks.
