I know that temp does make a difference, generally, but when it's time....well, it's time. If it's been warm surface temps, and a cold rain come thru, surface temps will/can be, cooler than temps 2-3 feet down. But, if temps don't get up to that "magic number", what ever that is ????, those little buggers will just put on a coat and do their deal. They are where you find them. Stay warm and stay safe....fyi, we had sleet/snow here for a spell yesterday, so 50 is warm to me!! lol See ya on the water.
