    Fished Sardis Monday and caught fish much shallower than 130 feet of line but like Yikees said your depth depends on how high your rod tip is above the water. Fish bit way better from 1:00 until 2:30.

    Cranking is not brain science. Spread em out high and low, put every color you got on there. Once you catch a fish, mimic that same pole with another pole. If either of those poles catches again, repeat process. Eventually u will turn into a fish catching machine. On a side note, its not illegal to use minnows right now. They eat those things yr round. Do what u do best.
