I used to read the paper and the MDWFP fishing reports. I understand it is your business and you get to be on the water almost every day So you see it as a slow transition. For us weekly guys it can change tremendously in 7 days, or 14 days if we have to skip a week.

I am not asking for anyone's numbers. It would just be helpful to know that someone had success single poling or trolling cranks or failure spider rigging. I have seen reports on Bay Springs lately, but I only make that long drive 3 or 4 times a year. Of course I never have done well for Crappie there, only Bass. Us weekly folks don't get to use the resource as much as you do. It would be beneficial to all to share information. I will continue to do a little post of my trips and hopefully others will follow.

Here's a couple caught just before the Enid tourney last weekend, long lining ponyheads in 8 to 20 feet of water, still had eggs.

The lack of reports are for a couple of different reasons me thinks, for me its a lack of fish being caught. Have caught some good ens but just not a lot of them, that and the fact that we been tourney fishing a good bit and just don't post much before a tourney. One of the other reasons for lack of pics is negative comments when they are posted, if you are proud of your catch then I am proud for ya, not always the case with some tho. Who wants to be slammed when posting pics, I don't. As far as out-of -state folks Feelay is rite, they are learning that there are other times to fish than just spring, more predictable times for sure like trolling cranks in the summer and pushin minners in the fall. Saw a bunch of folks huddled up in their cabins this spring for more than half their stay due to the crazy weather.
PM me anytime Bruce and if I can help I will but I don't fish Sardis much at all so I may not be able to. Good luck.

Default fish reports seem to be less and less on the forum.

When everybody starts pulling cranks in a few weeks the reports will pour in. Tail gate and ironing board pics galore! Love it! I think all the rain this year has kept a lot of folks off the water and hurt the reports.

Only place I been going is the small muddy... Been killing them for 2 weeks .. Every chance I get.
Everyday spent outdoors with good company is worth the time and effort it takes to make it happen. Take a friend fishing!

I think it's people are realizing how posting on the internet puts pressure on the lakes.

I took a week off. Last Sunday I waded the iron woods on Grenada and kept 15. I don't take pictures unless I can find a women to hold them in a bikini. Sorry

There was a time I would have agreed with you, but I know better now. You are simply wrong. When a set of people trouble themselves to earn this information, it is to their detriment when the information is shared with the masses.

I had no idea that people consider crappie fishing a sport, and when I discovered this fact, I knew I was wrong in thinking that people respect crappie as a food source. That's what it is to me and my family. It is probably the third largest source of our food.

Some of us are actually harmed by the sharing of information.
