Had some 10s and 11s too , been fishing these lakes for 30 years, they just go through cycles, Good Lord and the spillway has way more to do with than pressure, pole limits, creel limits, or size limits.
Just opinion, not really worth much.

LOL, let me start here, a little humor always helps. I agree fishermen catch more than the water skiers. lol

I was getting at, if 50% go out the outlet channel, none have gone over the spillway since what '94 or whenever it was so high, right? lol So 50% of this year's 12 inch fish go out that way, and say what 10-15% die off, what percentage is left from one year to the next that aren't caught, if we know those numbers we can get a percentage of the fish the fishermen take out of the lake, right?

I agree with you Mr. Rusty, but we all know they wouldn't put forth any effort to change that.

I heard Sardis and Grenada loose 35-38% out of their outlet channels as well.

I would bet the actual number of fish that go out the dam is very small probably less than 5 % and the reason I say that is If 50% of the crappie went out at Sardis you would be able to walk across the lower lake and not get your feet wet because there would be so many fish in it, and also that is where everyone would fish down by the dam because there would be alot more fish there than what I have found around spillways.
