Just trying to do my part bro!!
This topic to me is pretty comical, clfarms the percentage that goes out is prolly higher than 50%, ask the folks that did not catch any this past winter at Grenada because the gates stayed closed.

I have a confession. I am a crappie molester. Ha. In all seriousness I hear 85% of harvestable fish are caught, go thru spillway, die, etc. that's from buddy working for the corp who is buddy's with Keith. But, for some reason the fish did not go thru the spillway this winter. If in fact the percentage really is 85% we will begin to see the results of them lowering the length limit to 11 inches. In a few years a 13 inch fish will be big for Sardis.

I suggest keeping the limit the same for in state fishermen and cutting it to 5 for out of state licenses. I don't like cleaning them anyway and could get my limit once or twice a year.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

I say they just do away with spider rigging an make it a max of 3 poles and 6 hooks. My home lake is 2 poles and we get by just fine. There are a ton of meat hogs out there that keep more fish than they could ever eat in 5 years let alone a year. Way to many egg filled females getting tossed in the hot grease and then people complaining about not catching fish.
