Cricket, if you get to Wappapello much, Millie's bait shop just past Redman campground sells them

And just what is the benefit of this permit. Seems to me just another way to fleece sportsman.

I believe he is talking about a COE annual parking/boat launch permit. If so, it's a great deal. The permit costs $30.00 and is good at all COE boat ramps nation wide. At $3.00 per day pay at the ramp rates it pays for itself quickly and it saves you from scrambling to make change at the ramp. Almost everywhere I fish is covered with this permit, all of the big 4, and the Ten-Tom waterway.

Most all COE campground offices sell the permits.

The benefit for me is that I've launched at least 20 times at 3 bucks a pop. Permit is only 30 bucks.

I understand now. Thought it was a state thing. Sorry.

Can't buy online or even call and give card #. I tried last week. You have to stop by office or mail and check to them and they will mail your permit back to you.
