Today the wife and I went to BPS Memphis to pick up a few things to better our chances saturday pullin bandits. We got an okuma stratacaster reel and a crappie maxx tightline special and a half dozen more bandits. The gentleman helping me was very nice and informitive. When I asked when they would be getting more bandits, that is when he said, "BPS is going to stop carrying them. The store management has been going back and forth with the home office but it doesn't seem to be going very good."
This just doesn't make good business since to me. I guess time will tell if the guy knows what he is talking about. First an ammo shortage and now that my interest change I am looking at a bandit shortage. Six weeks ago I didn't even know there was such a critter, lol.

It seem that those that make the decisions never ask those that do the work what works and what doesn't. Then when it all goes wrong they want to blame it on the little guy because he never gave them the correct info. Go Figure.

.
Just go to Wallace creek bait shop they gotem all and much better price
If it will hold cornmeal it's big enough for me !!!!!!!!!
Like Feelay said, they cater to the Bass fisherman. If they sold enough crappie cranks they would have expanded the colors selection in their own brand of crappie cranks a long time ago. We get frustrated here but would guess that Mississippi has more people who pull cranks than most of the other states combined.

BPS like Walmart, We want your product, but we want OUR name on it.
It's one of the not to go to stores for me.
I have two BPS within driving distance and they have personnel not working with customers to keep customers wanting to come back for repeat
business. Cabela's is closer to me and they get most of my business now. Found a few bait shops that are more customer friendly.

Thanks for the info on where to get bandits. I know this isn't the end of the world, it just didn't make good sense to me. Very little does these days.
