    Default Thermacell ???

Has anyone ever tried using a thermacell on the nats down at Sardis ??? I know they work great in the bowstand and turkey hunting on mosquitoes

So I was just wondering if it might work on those nats !!

I think I ate so many down there Saturday that we didn't have to stop for lunch on the way to the house !!

It would be nice to find something that would work on them, maybe I'll get me a coal oil bucket to burn in the boat !!

Love my thermacell but haven't tried it for gnats just mosquitos. Not sure if they are the same gnats we got over here, but tried these BugBand Towelettes | BugBand DEET-Free Insect Repellent this year and they have been working great. Got some samples from a Crappie Masters tournament. Tried them out and was impressed how well they worked. Wiped on forehead, ears, back of neck, and sides of face and then rubbed the brim of hat and no more gnats. May be just some type of swarm ya'll got this year since all the rains?

That's just because it was too windy for the gnats to fly

Some time ago we were in Hilton Head SC. and they give us Avon SOS wipes for what ever those little black biting bug's were,, since then i just buy a bottle of it and use a cloth soaked in it ,then wipe on exposed skin.. you will smell different but they don't bite.
