The best thing to do is to pick a couple of friends one with a metal boat, the other with a glass rig. Spend a day fishing with each and ask lots of questions, then you can make an educated purchase. BTW...When I say glass boats, I mean quality boats such as Ranger, Skeeter, Bass Cat, and Stratos. The top metal boats are War Eagle, Express (BRM must be asleep), and Ranger(they are coming out with a tin boat this year). I'm sure I missed a couple of each style, but you get my idea, "don't buy cheap junk". Outboards? Well that's a whole other discussion, but in my opinion if it ain't a Yamaha or a Mercury you wastin' money. Hope this helps!
Everyone knows my opinion.
