Jigflinger I was there that day and neither of us believed him or anybody had cleaned the lake out.I believe he was speaking more of this guys character and disposition.I can promise Butla is not cleaned out and some good fish will come from there this year.Just dont think the numbers will be high.

I kept pretty close tabs on Butla. Drove by most every day. Lot of boats just off DP ramp. Most every one of them had one fisherman in it and was anchored and was fishing a specific spot. There were some trolling. But the majority of the boats were anchored. Kinda hard to call them trolling, even though they had several poles out.

If out and out BS and bragging are signs of disrespect, then we are all guilty as sin. Is the next fisherman that starts bragging and throwing pooh gonna be labled a sad individual, with no respect and a questionable personality? I know that Butla isn't fished out. The biologist has said so and produced supporting data.

I do not belevie its fished out. It did take a hit last yr but will recover. This yrs fishing is going to be tuffer in my opion due to high grass that gives them more hideing /spawing areas. But its good for the fish and gives time to recover some.
