GDG I got a question for you, I understand how socks can help hold the bow down and how it could really help with the Vee hull but what do you think it would do for a flat bottom Alum boat?

One thing to ponder is if you're fishing in stumps. That sick will get ripped to stress on stumps whereas a chain will still let you fish slow

I think they would still work on tin boat as well, seems to me that when the front of the boat tries to come up no matter the kind of boat the socks will slow it down on the way up.

We drag em thru the stumps at Nader all the time. They will hang on one sometimes but we just back up get loose and go on. Never had one tear yet.
