I understand it's not the res just remember the bite being good last feb or I thought I did.bet the gates are wide open right now.

Nope, shut tight. They will open them wide once we dry out a bit.

Fishing was great last Feb. but that was last year. That is what makes these reservoirs so challenging. You can't just do what you did last year, they are always changing.

I know u never know what u gonna get as far as water level and weather. I've only been on it four times in my life and that was last year. Beautiful lake and I loaded the boat with fish every time.

Don't look for the bite to get better on Sardis until at least anothe month or so. This rain and weather has shut it down till at least end of February.

Thanks for the info.Just trying to learn the big 4 better and local knowledge really helps. This info will save time and money hopefully i can catch a few .
