    I noticed rod holders rapped in looks like pipe insulation. What is this for? Thanks, Kevin

    Makes them look better and you can stick extra and different color jigs in the foam and have them handy for changing out.

    It will also float them if some reason some one knocks one overboard while switching from front to back. Pipe insulation is also good for your landing net for the same reason...

    I use Tite-lok's and I put insulation around them because like was said eariler, you can put extra jigs and hooks on them if you break one off and you dont have to keep getting into your tackle box. It works really well.
