Nice setup Major!! I wish I coulda been out there on the rez with you! My wife is from Jackson, and my MIL used to live just off of Spillway road there on the rez. I never got to do any fishing there though before she moved to Union.

How many did you catch the other day?

Lemme see... My wife's aunt, Jo Barron (sp), her cousin, Jo's daugther Denise Mason/Reppond. Denise was married to a fella for a while that I don't really care for...ahem! He was a cop there, Robert Reid. He's a real unfriendly bas..urrr...guy... Doesn't know how to say hello when ya meet him. Acts like your not there...know what I mean?

I know his Dad, Opal Reid really well. He's a good ol' guy. Pretty sick now with emphysema. I just hooked him up an oxygen line at his house while I was there over Christmas. I also work with a fella here in Memphis who's Dad and grandmother lived there till just recently. His last name is Gamel. His Grandmother lived at the nursing home back behind Opals house.

My mom in law lives right down the street on the corner of 5th street. Jo is her sister. Her name is Ginger Welch. I know her landlord as well, lives right behind her. Nice fella who retired from the MHP, man..his name always escapes me..... I'm sure you know him though! Mr. HANNAH..that's it!

....I sureeeee wish I had me a Wards Chilli burger with a root beer float!!!!
Or some catfish and chicken on a stick from Penns in Philly!:D

Just remember run straight lines and make big sweeping turns. There's an article that Jeff (Jwhite) wrote somewhere on this site that talks about all that. Try a Search and track it down. You'll learn ya something. Old Jeff's a pretty sharp cookie and a dam nice fella
The article is "Crankbaits for Crappie An article by J. White". Go to the front page for Crappie.com and click on articles. It's toward the bottom of the list of 57 articles and it's a great collection of information on pulling cranks.

Maj I think you did a heck of a job with this topic. Great job. If a man did not learn from this, well I don't know.
