Everybody out doin the LOVE thing tonight for Valentines.lol
I lost a good rod and reel right under the Bridge on Normandy yesterday. If you all can find it, you can give it back to me.![]()
Mr. Big get it???
No, Mr.Big knocked it off the boat with the trolling motor.lol
I dropped one of my St Croix rods in the lake a couple of weeks ago and was real happy to find that it floats!!!!!!!
Looked around in Cabelas the other day. Held a St. Croix 5' dock shooting rod that had a $130 price tag on it. I put it down real quick before they charged me for lookin at it. Nice rods though. Very light weight but not much backbone in the bottom of the rod. Glad I didn't have the credit card with me, lots different than BPS.

I respooled all my reels this past Saturday with fresh line in preparation for the big one. Went though 1800 yards of P-line. I have some reels that need replacing badly and will have to watch the sales. I purchased a couple of underspins that I plan on trying this spring but have my suspect about casting with those. I think that they are great for jigging as I have already decided that.
