    Sorry to hear that Rich
Judy had a disc replaced 7-8 years ago I think hers was L4 & 5. My son Steve also had back surgery due to a car accident. They both lost Some Flexibility and had pins put in but are much better off since having it done.
If you’re looking for a good Dr., they both had Dr. Abood.

I have been avoiding saying anything to my dr about back problems, mostly because I am afraid of what they are going to tell me.
brother has had three back surgeries and dad has had two.....I am going to avoid that as long as I can stand the pain..
I injured my back way back in 1977 and it has been bothering me ever since, gotten way worse the last two years, but hey, still on the right side of the dirt , so all is good!!

Not sure where we will go from here. Can no longer run, or do leg workouts. Golfing is out along with sports with major rotation. I guess I fish more. Now I know why those Smooth Move seats were a good investment!

    John,

I have one of the best chiropraters that you can get. I trusted them when I injured my back and they have kept me going ever since. At no time did they EVER mention directing me to surgery. I was talking with Dennis yesterday and I said "well, at least I know it is gone. Anything I can do". He says... NO! I know how he feels about back surgery though so I expected that. He did teach me some exercises that will help me get through the day.

I have to weigh my options here. It is getting harder and harder to sit for long periods of time. I guess I need a bigger boat so I can walk around more!!!

Strapping em up is something I am now accustom to!

Usually the day starts out with: "Yes, I know what I'm doing, I've done it 1000 times...." it ends with flags through the forest that looked like Hansel and Gretel tied them as they walked hand in hand with Helen Keller!!!

The short end of the stick went something like this:

Steve: I need to try this on my own. I've had a ton of lessons now

Aaron: I think if Steve and I put our gear together, we would have enough to do this!

Steve: I've only lost a planner board 10 times. I'm not doing to bad

Aaron: Turn around quick, I think I still see it

Steve: Quick turn, 45 minutes later they finally get their tangle figured out. Only after cutting the lines in 20 places

Aaron: Steve, you think these reels are still calibrated now

Steve: Shutup and get the net, this thing is a giant

Aaron: You still hae 200 feet of line to go. Or maybe 30. Are you sure you didn't cut off 200 feet of line

Steve: Keep an eye on that board Aaron, they are not cheap
    More like........

    Aaron: Steve look, a Walleye!

    Steve: how you do that?

    Aaron: casting a minnow.

Steve: think we can replicate the fall Crappie Camp.

Aaron: Hell yeah, I got my :SuperMan Undies on again...........

The Mrs. and I attended our nieces casual dress rehearsal dinner tonight.....lots of lawyers and other professional people there, I think I may have over dressed with the Engel hat, I could sense their stares of jealousy of being upstaged by the redneck from Michigan.
