Ok guys we are fishing in the wrong spots. This was a post on the MichiganSportsman.com Saginaw Bay site

"I caught my biggest crappies ever on willow leaf Jack hooks with white beads, the biggest was 18.5 inches. They came out of one of the marinas on Saginaw Bay! Mine were caught through the last ice. In fact, the ice was so thin you couldn't walk on it and we fished off the docks. After catching the 18.5 I lost a bigger one when it wouldn't fit in the hole the 18.5 incher came through! I know some people will think that is a fish tale but I swear on my parents graves"

Now has anyone ever seen one this size ?
We need to invite this fellow to Crappie Camp !
