walleye , lower peninsula inland waters opens April 30th this year.
finally found it.
Oh wow, that is a ways away. Does that exclude lake st clair? Looking to try the waters this Saturday and see what we can find.
I like the sounds of that, thankyou John. Been a long winter with few fishing opportunities. Hopefully we will find some fish.
Thanks john... that was a typo on my part! Too many things going on at one time I guess. Same day as the lower peninsula trout opener.
The only negative thing I have to say about the seats are: They do not allow you to "free swivel". When trolling, I turn my seats around to face the rear of the boat. With my Air Ride seats, I can lock the lever in the down position with allows for free movement back and forth. With these, you cannot lock it in the down position. So, when it hits the mark, the lever kicks back up and locks in the seat. You can however operate the lever with your foot. Just a little issue to get used to but a small price to pay for the comfort of the ride and quality! Not everyone will want to fork over a grand for two seat bases. But, they are also not running 15 miles in 2 foot seas either. I crushed a disk in my back about 13 years ago (L5). Since that time, sitting in boat seats for a day on the water was the death of me. I would walk like an old man for a day or so. The air ride seats helped a ton... so these can only be an improvement.
I was out throwing frisbee for the dogs last night and got attacked be skeeters. Hope this isn't how it's going to be all summer.
I got driven out of the barn while putting line on rods. Same deal
