I saw her finger and thought she had a shotgun accident at first. Trigger finger, casting finger, and booger finger. Also the go to scratching finger. I would be in trouble!
i would like to see Gary in an apron, but cooking isn't his thing. He has been emptying the dishwasher and he opens my water bottles. He may have to gut his own deer this year, now that will be something to see!!!

Tonda.. hope that all will be well with your mishap...well, it happened today :( put the boat to bed for its winter nap..removed all of my clothes, rain suit,life jackets and so on..tackle remains..will put a pan under the lower unit and pull the cork on that..no hurry, sometime it drains for weeks before the weather allows garage work..no heat..also have a leaky carb, so will be dealing with that in the future..next year..cleaned the yard for HOPEFULLY the last time..leaves are 95% down..YAY..oh ya, washed the truck too..getting ready to head west..if all goes well, three weeks from today, will be headed to AZ..our most wonderful friend will be in her new place at Thanksgiving..mid December will find us on the way to California..so cant wait!!..what a beautiful day today, I do hope that some of you got to go fishing..Happy Thanksgiving to all, and dare I say, Merry Chistmas!! later bill
I just accomplished most of the same list you covered Bill. Don't know if it will be a good or bad omen, but I mounted the snow blower on the one tractor Saturday and moved it up into the garage. Ready for the white stuff, but would be happy if it never came. Still have the Cyclone Rake mounted on the other tractor, but any leaves around me will blow in from the ground in the woods as all the leaves seem to be down in the trees here.
Have a safe trip out to AZ and CA.
I'm not giving up yet. My boat still has one or two trips left in her. Might have to ready my river rig though just in case. Calling for white crap on Saturday. I love to ice fish but I could do without it too.
What does that mean, get boat ready for winter? Down here it just means we switch to salt water baits and hit the marsh for redfish and speckled trout. Guess we are lucky that way.

Woke up to snow this morning. I thought the ground temperature would be warm enough it wouldn't stick. I'm sure it will melt away during the day today.
Finally made it out crappie fishing Sunday went to one of my old water holes that I always catch fish. Its been a long time since I had some friend crappie
Only caught one bluegill !!
I hear the word "water holes" and usually don't think of fishing!
I am however thinking of heading over for some early winter Walleye fishing! Need to check the weather report for the next four or five days.

cleaned the gutters one last time and then mulched leaves, also last time :highfiveput the yard machinery away, new tires on the car had to get a new gauge cluster for the truck..speedo went nuts..my ham fisted repair did not work lol, finished two boxes to gift..doctor appts on Fri., now for the good stuff..leaving Sun. morn for Arizona..will stay there a week or so, then on to California for Xmas :santa no set date to return..probably 6 weeks, maybe more..Dee wants to get on with this hip replacement deal..will have the laptop with, so will be looking in for sure..Happy Holidays to all..may yours be filled with peace and love B & D

short update..arrived AZ on Mon. good trip..LONG DRIVE..nice weather here..75f :biggrin sure is different than MI. tho...the yard is sand and gravel..mowers not needed..quiet..lots of people and traffic! later

I was looking forward to some ice fishing, but with the weather temps in the 50's and 60's here, I guess I might as well put the ice fishing equipment back in storage.
Winterizing a boat is a figure of speech. Just allows the average guy to stack stuff around his boat as he doesn't intend to use it for a few months. I put my ice fishing gear behind my boat so I have to move it to get at it... see my strategy there? Might have to move it back to the lake in the next week! I mean, if I am going to pull the boat ahead to get at the ice gear, I might as well take it on a little trip to the bay! Or the river! Or Lake Erie!
