It was a gorgeous day today. We decided based on reports on Lake Diane, to stay put and fish here on Hudson. There was a bit more wind than I prefer by afternoon, but still we caught and released a double limit of the same small fish. The quality of fish here leaves much to be desired, but the quality of fishing is great. Carol had to leave her seat in the back of the boat and come up and join me up front to stay on top of the poles.

There were no reports from the muskie fishers here of any muskies caught. We had a father/son from Ohio in the site across the road from us that struck out. We turned them on to some jigs and some advice and they went out and caught some crappie instead.

We will fish for a few hours tomorrow morning before breaking camp and heading back home. It was a spledid weekend regardless of the storms that passed through yesterday afternoon.
