I recently acquired an older 24 volt auto pilot and was going to put it on a " project boat" I've been working on...only thing boat is smallish Jon boat and don't really have the room for the two batteries up front...Boat has room for ONE battery up front...my question is has anyone ever ran a 24 volt with one battery up front and one at the back?? I'm just trying to ditrubute the weight evenly as I can...,,, Or would it be best to have both batteries at the back??
