Could you possibly post a closeup picture of the texture? Where did you purchase the coating?
I've been considering ripping out what's left of the carpet in my boat and putting down a coating similar to this. Yours came out awesome!

As i said I did a pile of research before choosing this product and a couple things to remember.
1) make sure you clean area's to be coated with TSP or at least a harsh soap and water let dry.
2) Rough any existing paint / bare aluminum with 60 or 80 grit sandpaper. spray and bare aluminum areas with a self etching primer.
3) Blow everything off with leaf blower / compressor, then wipe everything down with Xylene (dont use any other solvent mineral spirts etc, from what i have read if you do so you will have adhesion issues)
4) roll on your first coat and then cut in around close edges with a brush using a dabbing motion. Let sit for a couple hours at least until good and tacky then roll on your second coat.
From what i have seen folks that very specifically follow the above procedures love the product.
Warn you now, a gallon of it isn't cheap.
For me it came down to either this or hydro turf. I dont think you can go wrong with either (assuming you install them both correctly)

Very nice! Love those center console boats. I have been thinking that I would go back to one for my next boat.
I have that same motor on my little Stratos bass boat, and a buddy has one on his G3 boat. They seem to be about as durable as a claw hammer, and hardly use any gas.
