    I put a 24 volt on my Tracker, the boat came with a 12 volt.

    6 gauge is much heavier... will run cooler...and improve overall performance of the trolling motor. Definitly worth the time to upgrade, you wont be sorry you did.

    Yeah I probably need to do that as well, just seems that my trolling motor sucks down the battery fast.
