    I cannot believe the dealer did not test drive a used boat before he sold it. The last boat I bought was a while ago but the dealer insisted we take it to the lake and check it out. I think he met check me out. If it has a 3 blade prop it will have right hand torque until it is trimmed out correctly. Thats why you see so many big motor boats with a hot foot and power trim mounted on the steering wheel. You might need both hands coming out of the hole. I did add the torque tab to my skeg.

    The skeg tabs I saw looked like a wedge for one side of the motor. worked well when properly installed.
