From what I understand there is no size or bag limit on tidal crappie. Since I keep very few it never mattered to me.

Looking at the fishing regulations, it states that the non-tidal crappie limit is 15. What is the tidal limit? They have limits on bass for both fresh and tidal. Nothing is listed for crappie in the tidal section. I'm going to email dnr to get clarification on this but as I see it if it isn't stated then there isn't a limit for tidal. What is your opinion?

I would like to know for sure if I one day decide to keep them. Can't find any concrete answer to this question and base my reply on what I have been able to gather from various blogs.
Me personally I think 15 is enough for 1 day but some years I don't get to go out as much and would like to keep more. Freeze the fillets in water and they keep just fine for a little while. They make great fish tacos.
I agree 10 good ones or 15 average size is enough for me.
Yea i think there should be a limit . We keep a whole bunch some trips but none on alotta trips if I'm gonna clean some I mite as well clean a bunch then other days we say dont wanta clean any so it kinda works out .But I do think there should be a limit Ive seen spots fished over the years.Freezing in water works great I just found a bag of white perch from last years spring run that fell back in freezer fried em up they were great.Lotsa white and yellow perch in the rivers now.
Cant wait to get my freezer back packed. Barely catching enough to fry
