Got out today to try and redeem myself of the last trip. First spot got nothing, this was the spot I fished on Sunday. Got to thinking with the water so cold they are deeper and more protected. Used the fishfinder to scan the bottom for a quarter mile and found a deep hole 15+ feet behind a steep drop off. Fished straight down a foot above the bottom and finally got them. Missed a bunch because of the light bite but ended up catching nine in a 3 hour trip with about 2 hours of searching. Must have been on a big school because the sonar was lighting up like crazy every time I caught a fish. Still tapping the jig when I left.
