She deserves a replica, but quite honestly, most if not all the paint jobs on em never look right .
Wish I could find a replica person that could actually replicate , the last one I had made was a similar size fish and he used a form that was just right ….
Unfortunately he mostly paints black crappie and it looks like a black crappie

OMG BRO, bucket list sized fish. Beautiful thing she was and many thanks for the release. Passing on bigger genetics and all that. You’ll smile big when you think back on that one.

Certainly worthy of having a replica made. I hope you find someone. I had a replica made of my Redear. Loved the paint job but replica was 16" instead of the 17" that she measured.

Default OMG ! what did it weigh ?

    Congrats on the giant slab!
That’s a three pounder for sure.
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Kethun, just wondering and the reason I mentioned scales in earlier post, do you think she was 3+? I've personaly still chasing 3 despite having 3 fish over 2.9. Scott

Congratulations Ketchin that’s a extremely nice one. A fellow caught one here on a local lake two or three weeks ago that went 19.5” & weighed 4.37 lbs. on certified scales. It was a hoss.

pretty easily 3 is my guess , have not held one in that size range in a minute or 3 , truly an amazing crappie.
if it were me to chase big fish with the equipment available to hammer big fish , it would be just another fish in some circles , but to be VERY sure of this , to stumble along and find one this size in this part of the world in public waters just pitching a jig on your lunch break , is just WOW
