Thank you for a reminder of simpler times silverroach. I'm sure that dad and young man are thankful as well. The smile on his face says he's hooked for life. Growing up from the late 50's, and dad in the Marines, with 3 siblings, when dad took us fishing it was from the bank, and those trips weren't too often. Electronic's as we know today were non-existent, except on ships. So when I got into fishing after joining the military myself, a small rental aluminum boat was the norm, if one was used.
