Sufix is my favorite mono but once you pull with braid you'll probably want to forget mono line.

Not sure used the "steel blue " . Never thought line watching was needed .

One setup that I used was 15 lb braid, power pro if I remember right, and I switched my split rings to lighter wire that were still strong enough to land any fish but a steady pull would pull the bait free and leave the hook. Saved me from losing so many cranks.
